Oribe dry texturizing spray has gotten a lot of press over the last year or so. It took a while for me to buy into the hype and try it. At first spray I was like #NotBadObama... but now I'm dependent on the stuff!

What's just as cool as the product is the team behind Oribe. Did you know the co-CEOs Daniel Kaner and Tev Fingers were also behind Bumble and bumble? Mr. Kaner is married to Sonia Kashuk, the successful makeup artist who previously worked with Vogue, Bazaar etc. before launching her own line at Target. I'm sure they're one of the beauty industry's power couples. Mr. Fingers seems just as awesome -- he throws a lot of funny quips during his interviews.

Last but not least, the hair stylist and name sake of the line: Oribe Canales. His life story is gritty and engaging and he comes off very confident and passionate -- and actually reminds me of the designer Valentino in the documentary "The Last Emperor"... mixed with the efficiency and nonchalant humor of Roger Sterling from Mad Men.

Here's a cool backstage video of Oribe holding a 2-day styling event. (It's a bit long so I recommend the first 4 minutes; skip the rest.)
